Community Child Care Center provides events to create a sense of community and to allow families time to socialize with other families. Some of these activities are done with our partner organizations.
Through an informal graduation ceremony and ice cream social, we recognize the children who will be starting formal school in the fall.
Our preschool and school age children participate in a reading incentive program and then all families are invited to share a Day at the Timber Rattlers.
No holiday season would be complete without Christmas carols and the joy of young children. Parents and grandparents gather with the children to share songs they have learned at the center’s holiday program.
Fall and spring center outdoor work days create opportunities for families and members of the community to spend a Saturday a.m. planting our center garden, completing a landscaping project, and preparing our grounds for the following season.
